Lip fillers
Good work, you don't see. Someone who doesn't know you would think these are simply your lips. That is the standard I work to.
Lips are what I have dedicated the past decade to. I am a co-author of internationally published research on lip injections, I have studied with ultrasound how filler behaves inside the lip, and I train physicians in the Netherlands and abroad in lip treatments — live injections, masterclasses, symposia. What I do in the treatment room is what I show on stage: precision.
How I look
A beautiful lip asks for three things: a good analysis, impeccable technique and a good product. The analysis starts before the lip. I look at your lips at rest, at the teeth and jaw beneath them, at the proportions of your face and at your heritage. Lips have to fit the face — you have to be able to carry them. And what nature has already made beautiful, I leave alone.
What I stand for
Lumps you can feel, a shelf above the lip, product that migrates: none of that comes with the territory. It is not a property of filler, it is poor work. I photograph every treatment, I never use more than your face can carry, and sometimes my advice is to do nothing. It is my job to protect you — even when that means saying no.
It starts with a consultation in Eindhoven: photographs, analysis and honest advice — and only then a plan.
Lips that no longer feel like yours
Earlier treatments elsewhere can leave lips heavy, migrated or unnatural. That can be undone. With ultrasound I see exactly where the product sits, old hyaluronic acid filler can be dissolved, and after recovery we discuss whether and how a new treatment makes sense.
Will everyone be able to tell my lips are done?
Only poor work shows. Good work reads as your own lips — someone who doesn't know you would think you were born this way. I work from the proportions of your face and never use more than suits them.
Does it hurt?
Pain is not necessary. I numb the lips before the treatment; most patients find it very manageable.
Are lumps or a shelf above the lip normal?
No. With me it does not come with the treatment. If it is from an earlier treatment, I assess with ultrasound where the product sits and it can be dissolved.
How long does the result last?
That differs from person to person. Some bodies break filler down quickly — those are the exceptions — and I have patients who still see their result two years on. In the consultation I tell you what you can realistically expect.
When do I judge the result?
Not straight after the treatment: swelling hides the finesse. The real result shows after two to three weeks, so don't plan the treatment right before an important occasion.
"From" prices are per treatment; what your treatment plan costs is discussed upfront in the consultation. Cosmetic treatments are medical procedures. They are performed only after a personal consultation, for adults aged 18 and over, and not during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
