Background

I studied medicine at Maastricht University and worked as a resident in cardiothoracic surgery at MUMC+ and trauma surgery at Erasmus MC before specialising in aesthetic medicine. That time on surgical wards defines how I work: anatomically precise, respectful of structure, and quick to say no when no is the right answer.

Edwards Aesthetics is my own practice in the Netherlands, built around the patient. The doctor–patient relationship starts with the first conversation: who you are, what moves you, what you want — and above all what you don't. Only then do we talk technique.

In the Netherlands I see you at Dermé Clinic in Eindhoven, which, like me, works with SkinCeuticals.

Educator and speaker

Alongside the practice I train physicians in the Netherlands and internationally in injection techniques, as faculty of UMA Academy and as a key opinion leader for Merz Aesthetics. I have spoken at AMWC Monaco and IMCAS Paris, among others. What I teach there is what I apply here: anatomy first, then the product.

Two practices, one approach

I treat in Eindhoven during fixed periods each year and in Aruba at AME Clinic. Both practices follow the same principles: natural results, medical rigour and honest advice.
