Clear agreements, upfront

1. Scope

These terms apply to all consultations, treatments and products of Edwards Aesthetics, located at Stratumsedijk 34 B, 5611 NA Eindhoven, the Netherlands. The Dutch Medical Treatment Contracts Act (WGBO) also applies to the treatment relationship.

2. Consultation and treatment

Treatment takes place only after a personal consultation in which your wishes, your medical situation, the options, the risks and the costs are discussed. Before treatment you sign a treatment agreement (informed consent). Dr. Edwards may refuse or postpone a treatment she considers medically or aesthetically unjustified.

Treatments are performed only on adults aged 18 and over and not during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

3. Appointments, rescheduling and cancellation

Appointments are made and confirmed online, by e-mail or via WhatsApp. Rescheduling or cancelling is free of charge up to 24 hours before the appointment. For cancellation within 24 hours or no-show, the reserved time may be charged.

4. Prices and payment

Costs are discussed upfront in the consultation and depend on the treatment and the amount of product used. Payment is made directly after treatment; invoices are payable within 14 days. Cosmetic treatments are not reimbursed by health insurers.

5. Results and aftercare

A cosmetic treatment is a medical procedure; results differ per person and cannot be guaranteed. Side effects are discussed beforehand. You receive aftercare instructions; following them is part of the treatment. A follow-up visit takes place on medical indication.

6. Products

Skincare products purchased through the practice cannot be returned for hygiene reasons once the seal is broken. Unopened products can be returned within 14 days of purchase.

7. Records and privacy

A medical record is kept for every patient in accordance with the WGBO. How we handle your data is set out in the privacy statement.

8. Complaints

If you are not satisfied, we want to hear it from you first. The full procedure, including DOKh's independent complaints officer and disputes committee (Wkkgz), is in the complaints procedure.

9. Liability

Edwards Aesthetics carries professional liability insurance. Liability is limited to the amount paid out by the insurer in the case concerned. Liability for damage caused by not following aftercare instructions or withholding medical information is excluded.

10. Applicable law

Dutch law applies to all agreements. In case of any difference between this translation and the Dutch text, the Dutch text prevails.
