Botulinum toxin A is a purified protein injected in small amounts into the facial muscles. It temporarily blocks the nerve signal to the muscle, which relaxes. Dynamic lines — frown lines, crow's feet, horizontal forehead lines — soften while your expression remains yours.
I work with registered brands (including Bocouture and Botox). For most patients the effect lasts 3 to 4 months, depending on age, skin type, lifestyle and muscle activity.
What for
Frown lines, crow's feet, forehead lines. On indication also: downturned mouth corners, jaw tension (teeth grinding) and excessive sweating. What suits you, we decide in the consultation.
When will I see the effect?
The effect starts after a few days and is complete after about two weeks. It then lasts 3 to 4 months for most patients.
Will people see I've had something done?
That is exactly what I avoid. I dose so that your face keeps moving; people see that you look rested, not that you had a treatment.
Can I combine it with fillers?
Yes, often in one plan. We decide the order in the consultation.
